The Visitor

The Visitor was created as a tool to support children experiencing emotional pain and turmoil. In a child-friendly manner, this book offers children a gentle path toward their inner world and their challenging emotions, to promote healing, compassion, and love. Often, we learn to distance ourselves and run away from or cover up pain, not knowing that these forms of self-protection only perpetuate our pain. Through the book, children learn that uncomfortable emotions carry messages that help them grow, connect to their bodies, needs, and themselves, and also express untold stories that can only keep them trapped in a painful past. The Visitor also presents a way for children to initiate conversations about the ways in which they protect themselves from pain
