Ana is an EMDRIA approved consultant and provides consultation to EMDR clinicians during their different stages of professional development. Ana provides in person, phone, Skype and web-based consultation. Ana offers four levels of consultation (group or individual) to EMDR clinicians:
First level: Consultation for completing the basic training in EMDR therapy (5 hours post W-1 and 5 hours post W-2). Ana does a minimum of 5 hours of group consultation for this level. For individual consultation there is not a minimum number of hours.
Second level: Consultation for clinicians that want to become certified in EMDR therapy. Ana does a minimum of 10 hours of consultation for certification (individual or group). Please contact Ana Gomez at 602-803-4601 to join a group.
Third level: Consultation for clinicians that want to become approved consultants in EMDR therapy. Ana does a minimum of 10 hours of consultation for this level (individual or group). Please contact Ana Gomez at 602-803-4601 to join a group.
Fourth level: Advanced consultation for EMDR clinicians that want to further develop their skills in working with children and adolescents. For individual or group consultation there is not a minimum number of hours.
Ana also holds a BOOK CLUB where Ana joins EMDR clinicians to study and discuss Ana’s book “EMDR Therapy and Adjunct Approaches with Children: Complex Trauma, Attachment and Dissociation.” This group is held once a month.
The level of consultation MUST be specified before beginning consultation. Please know that each level of consultation has major variations in how consultation is provided so for instance fourth level consultation hours WIL NOT count towards certification (second level) or approved consultant status (third level).
Once Ana and you have agreed to start consultation a contract will be faxed or emailed to you. Contracts must be signed and received prior to beginning consultation.
